William Bogart MPS, EA

Bill has a BBA from St. Bonaventure University and an MPS from Alfred University. He is enrolled to practice before the IRS. Bill has been a small business and tax consultant for the past 16 years. He was an instructor for the Penn State Professional Tax Institutes from 1992 to 2000.

John J. Defassio, CPA

John has a BS in Business Administration with concentration in accounting. He had held various positions in accounting from 1972 until 1990 when he opened his own CPA practice in Bath, PA. John supplies his clients a full range of accounting services, in addition to preparing over 300 income tax returns per year, with years of experience in farm income taxes.

He is also the sect./treas. of Chapman Borough and volunteers his time to the Military Assistance Program sponsored by the PICPA and the Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council. He was an instructor for the Penn State Professional Tax Institutes for 10 years until 2000.

Robert P. Hager, CPA

Bob has a BS in Accounting from Bloomsburg State University. He was an IRS Field Agent for 6 years. For the past 15 years he has been a principal in the firm of Lindsay & Hager, PC. His practice is primarily in income and estate taxes. He was an instructor for the Penn State Professional Tax Institutes until 2000 and has spoken to various business associations and local law firms.

Joseph Lubash, MBA, EA

Joe has a BA from Penn State University and an MBA from University of Hartford. He is also enrolled to practice before the IRS. He has been preparing taxes professionally since 1992 for the firm of Ventresca Associates. Joe was an instructor for the Penn State Professional Tax Institutes in 2000.

Angelo Ventresca, Jr., MS, EA

Angelo has a BS from LaSalle University and an MS from Drexel University. He has over 46 years of experience in tax preparation. In 1978 Angelo founded Ventresca Associates which prepares 2,000 tax returns per year for individuals and small business owners. He is also enrolled to practice before the IRS and was an instructor for the Penn State Professional Tax Institutes from 1993 to 2000.

Julie E. Steinbacher, ESQ.

Julie is an attorney with a BS in Gerontology.  A significant portion of her practice at Steinbacher Law Firm is Elder Law.  Her areas of practice include Wills, Power of Attorneys, Trusts, Estates, Medicare/Medicaid, Nursing Home Law, Disability Law and Enforcement Litigation.  Prior to becoming an attorney she was employed by AARP and as a social worker at Valley View Nursing Facility.  She has been a speaker for Penn State Tax Institutes and Tax Week, PICPA-Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Tax Practitioners- PA Chapter, and Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants.

Gaetano J Capone, MS, CPA

BS from Pennsylvania State University, MS of Taxation from Widner University. Have been employed by the IRS for the last 34 years. Presently assigned as a Revenue Agent in the Large and Midsize Business Unit auditing mainly corporate tax return with assets in excess of $250 million out of the Wilkes-Barre office. Also serving as an instructor teaching all phases of Revenue Agent and computer training within the service. Have taught accounting and tax courses as and adjunct professor for several of the colleges within the Wilkes-Barre area.
